Dangers of Milk & Dairy Products

Dangers of Milk & Dairy Products

The following article apparently refers to the situation presently prevailing in USA:

If half of it is true in India, we ought to be truly wary about drinking / eating any milk or milk-based products.

However, one advantage in India is that the usage quantum of processed milk-based products has not truly exploded - certainly not at my home, for instance.

The disadvantage in India, however, is the comparative lack of reliable regulatory mechanisms to ensure that appropriate standards are introduced and subsequently enforced.

I would love to hear from my doctor friends on this subject.

Regards,

N

  2. This is a poorly researched article. Some of the comments are anectodal,
articles quoted very old and theory unsubstanciated.I will not go to details..
Dont get scared.Medical science does not discourage anybody to drink milk, except in cases of lactose intolerance.
Unless all types of food contaminations(which is the only truth in the article!)are taken care of everybody is bound to suffer. You can as in old times have your own cattleshed! DRINK LOW FAT MILK!! TSK

  3. Teeyeskay, I suspected as much. We, (in India), have always believed in the "Goodness of Milk".

However, instead of merely saying that the article is unsubstantiated, it would be better if you could have provided a couple of links which offer scientific facts.

I'm still hoping that some doctor friends respond to the above article and your comments with solid facts.
